The Ballroom Dance Club at Indiana University (BDIU) is dedicated to supporting the art and sport of ballroom dance and encourages the participation of all in our community. BDIU strives to provide members with quality services at a student-friendly cost.
Who we are.....
Ballroom Dance Club at IU is a fun, welcoming environment open to all of Indiana University. We welcome dancers of all levels. Come to one of our lessons and get the first two weeks free. We would love to have you! Our club features a variety of dancers. You don't need a partner to join or any experience! Come learn, dance, and grow with us.
What we do...
We learn how to dance together in an uplifting environment! If you want to learn how to ballroom dance for fun, or if you want to compete, this is the place for you. We happily welcome anyone who wishes to dance socially at our lessons and events. As a competitive member, you get to travel with the team to all events we attend AND get included access to our coaches' group lessons. It's always a great bonding experience.
We also host fun socials throughout the year! Find out when our next event is by checking our Instagram or posted schedule. Some examples include... Disney Ball, Valentine's Dance, Spooky Halloween, and our Winter Social. We also volunteer for many events and organizations. We have worked with First Thursdays, Camp Rock, My Sister's Closet, Late Nite, and more. These are not required, but they're always a good time!
