Our Mission
The Ballroom Dance Club at Indiana University (IUBD) is dedicated to supporting the art and sport of ballroom dance and encourages the participation of all in our community. IUBD strives to provide members with quality services at a student-friendly cost.
Who we are.....
Ballroom Dance Club at IU is a fun, welcoming environment open to all of Indiana University. We welcome dancers of all levels. Come to one of our lessons and get the first two weeks free. We would love to have you! Our club features a variety of dancers. You don't need a partner to join or any experience! Come learn, dance, and grow with us.
What we do...
We learn how to dance together in an uplifting environment! If you want to learn how to ballroom dance for fun or if you want to compete this is the place for you. We welcome dancers who dance socially at our lessons and events as well as competitive dancers. To compete you get to travel with the team to any competitions you would like to attend. It's always a great bonding experience.
We also do fun socials through out the year! You can find out when our next one is by checking our Instagram or our schedule. We do them all year round. Some examples include, Disney Ball, Valentines social, Winter Social, and our Western Social. We also volunteer for many events and organizations. We have worked with First Thursdays, Camp Rock, My Sister's Closet, Late Nite and more. These are not required, but they're always a good time!
