It was so exciting to see so many people at the callout! If you want to have more super fun ballroom times come to our social this Wednesday! It will be at 8:00 PM in the Frangipani room! Entrance is $1 in theme and $5 not in theme (theme is TBA but there will be food!).

Competition Manager - Alex King

Hey y’all!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to call out! 

First comp of the year has dropped and the registration form is here! Take your time in reading this as there is a LOT of info. If you are a social dancer, disregard this. This competition takes place at Ohio State University on September 28th.

I would budget 95$ total for the comp fees. It will most likely be much lower. But it is good practice to prepare for that number now. Comp fees will be due latest on Monday, September 23rd. I will try to have the official pricing out a week before they’re due. I hope this timeline helps you all to budget! 

In terms of the competition, here are some dates to remember. Monday, September 23rd during our practice time me and some veterans will meet with the competitors to go over supplies that you need and make sure you’re prepared with time to order any last minute supplies. Please reach out if you will not be there.

Thursday, September 26th, during rounds this day team members will have the space and time to do your ballroom hair. If you are unable to show up for this, reach out to me via discord, tell me your name and your plan to have your hair done. This year it will be MANDATORY to have hair done by LATEST 9:00pm the night before the competition. (Meaning Friday the 27th).
